Cookie Cutters

Dear Diary,
I had an amazing day! I went into the city to stop by a local shop called Cookies Corner that was having a sale on some cookie cutters. In the morning, I picked up my backpack, my map and headed over to the train station. The next train was leaving at 9:45 am.
Stopping by the ticket counter, I purchase my ticket and go to the platform. For a Saturday morning, the crowd was small, so I got to pick a perfect spot underneath a night lamp post to wait for the train to come.
In the distance, I heard the faint sound of a horn and a soft ground rumbling. Not long after, the train popped out of the corner in the distance and made its way toward the platform.
The train ride didn't take too long, a short 40-minute trip to the main station. Arriving at the platform, I was walking toward the exit when I bumped into a dinosaur who wasn't paying attention to where they were going.
From the crash, a sheet of paper lands between us, it's a poster from Cookies Corner about their cookie-cutter sale. After dusting ourselves off, I learnt that this fellow's name is Dino, and they are looking to add a few more cookie cutters to their collection.
Since we were headed in the same direction, we decided to make the trip together. Excited about heading to the shop, we were so busy sharing each other's excitement about what we were planning to buy that we didn't realize we got on the wrong subway line. The subway we were on was heading west but we needed to go north.
We worked together to figure out a plan B, we didn't feel like going back, so we decided to get to the shop above ground. Finding our spot on the map was difficult because we couldn't recognize the street that we were on. Dino suggested we flip a coin, heads we go left, and tails we go right. Not seeing any problem with that suggestion, we gave it a go. Flipping the coin up into the air with its long tail, the coin falls back onto the ground, landing with tails facing up....right it is.
Navigating the winding roads of the city we find a street vendor corner where one of the sellers was selling cookie cutters. They didn't have a large selection, but they had cookie cutters that were in the shape of dogs, flowers, ballerinas, and even a surfboard!
The vendor corner wasn't a corner, it turned out to be an alley where both sides were filled with different vendors selling different things, t-shirts, flowers, fruit, tacos, keychains, and so much more. Getting out of the alleyway took some time, the crowds were really big. Finding a shortcut we managed to get out onto the next street over.
In a way, it was good because we didn't have to push our way through the rest of the crowd but the bad side is we didn't know where we were after taking the shortcut.
So we asked a few locals for some directions. The next stop we made was at some gift shop where the owner told us that if we continued walking up the street pointing towards the main road, the shop we were looking for would be on the left. Almost skipping out of the shop, we walked up the street and just like the gift shop owner said, we saw the big sign at the top of the doors, 'Cookies Corner' in big blue and red letters. Finally, we were there.
